Coral Orgy: A New Chapter In Ambitious Expression

Lost in the clash of connecting rocks. In the clamorous glamour of amorous sea life, Coral Orgy was a symphony of oceanic pleasures. Twisting in the chaotic ambience within the pearly perimeter of the New World Center, the show, headlined by Animal Collective marked a new chapter in ambitious expression.

The night opened with the sounds of Hot Sugar. The sounds of glowing bass echoed across in an Air-meets-Machinedrum type of vibe. On the other stage was a psychedelic opera chronicling a journey that forever changed the life of the experienced singer. Afterward, Otto Von Schirach transmitted his signal from atop the pyramid that sang of twisting zebra stripes. We danced alongside the animals of the Bermuda Triangle.

Pro tip I learned: you haven’t really arrived at the party until someone paints a white triangle on your forehead while dancing with a tiger pretending to be a man.

Shouting about in science and seduction, Animal Collective performed their set surrounded by the sensual shaking of corals. Attendees shared the loving vibe whether from the seats or laying on the floor of the pit serenaded by the sights of invertebrate erotica.

The event was presented by Coral Morphologic, Borscht Corp., and III Points and succeeded in raising awareness of non-profit causes such as the Coral Restoration Foundation (United States), SECORE (Germany), and Project Coral (United Kingdom).

We look forward to seeing what more adventures lie in the deep. Stay tuned as we go deeper into the Miami Underground to bring you another Showskii secret.
